| Zurich, October 2, 2008 – It is with deep sorrow that The Nuance Group has to announce the unexpected passing of António Lourenço Ferreira, who for many years was Managing Director of its Portuguese joint venture Lojas Francas de Portugal (LFP). |
|
António played a leading role in setting up and managing LFP from 1995 and has continued to contribute to the company’s successful operation as a Senior Assistant to the Board.
Roberto Graziani, President & CEO of The Nuance Group, said: „I strongly appreciated António’s passion and commitment and his absolute fairness. All of this, together with his strategic view and practical approach, made him a very successful leader. I am proud to have had the opportunity to have known and worked with him.”
